Rufus RSH 2008 liver chestnut gelding by Sweet Rock Solid out of Sanalta Gypsy Queen. Rufus has an incredible personality with three outstanding gaits, and looks like he will become a wonderful child's pony, ending up in the medium to large size range. He should make an exquisite children's pony hunter, or would make a wonderful all around pony. He clips, bathes, ties, cross-ties, stands quietly to have his mane pulled and is well behaved for the farrier. Rufus was started under saddle this summer (2011) and is steady at all three gaits and has his leads. He goes quietly on the trail with beginner riders, crossing water, bridges and jumping small logs. This pony is a quick learner with an exceptional attitude. Sparkling RSH This is a link to Sparkling RSH (aka Sparkie) by First Encounter (Welsh) out of Stormy Creek (xx). She is a 5 year old Welsh/TB mare who is a wonderful hunter prospect and also cute enough to do a nice dressage test. She is 14.2 and has yet to be measured for a permanent card. She is safe and fun to ride and amateur friendly. I've taken her to an adult pony club camp where she was a star, beautifully behaved in open fields, in dressage and jumping and with lovely stall manners.
