Our Rougemont facility has a full sized dressage arena, access to trails, and great companions. Even our husbands have fun! Pictured right: Jack Griffith on Anna, Lothar Hackler on Gwen, and Roya. Our Johnson Mill facility has a fenced small area with lights, perfect for young or green horses.
Pictured right is the custom foal, Leap of Faith, with owner, Gretchen Britt.
With both my husband and I veterinarians, foaling out is a family affair. We also have the technology to monitor the mares by a camera wired in to our bedroom. Our son Bryan loves to see the foals, and is pictured here with a custom filly owned by Liz Stamey, with his teddy bear safely stowed under his arm.
Our breath of experience with foaling issues includes assisted deliveries, including red bag deliveries (all 3 successful with healthy foals), uterine artery rupture, with subsequent orphan management (nurse mare and bucket feeding), pregnancy toxemia, prolonged gestation, twin abortion and metritis, fetal anomaly, abortion, placentitis, mastitis, post foaling colic, patent urachus and angular limb deformity.
Congratulations to Karen Allred on her purchase of Kadenz, bred, raised and owned by Lorie and Joe Enloe, who recently moved to Idaho. Kadenz was my first consignment sale horse, and I am thrilled to have found such a perfect match.
