She is extremely athletic, built nicely uphill with excellent freedom in the shoulder, and a good natural tendency to load behind. We hope that this filly will be another FEI dressage prospect, as have several of Sashay's previous foals, including Gallant RSH and Del Fino RSH. Click to see online video   Del Fino RSH Welcome to Del Fino, our first frozen semen foal by Del Piero out of Sashay, born 5/11/06 at 12:05 am. Del Fino is a leggy bay colt, vigorous and friendly, who will be registered Hanoverian. Del Fino is co-owned by Donna Christopher and Ellen Ziemer, and is offered for sale as an exceptional dressage prospect by private treaty. July 2006 Honey Locust inspection: Champion colt at the inspection. This video is our first footage of Del Fino RSH under saddle. He is in training with Robyn Davis, who specializes in starting horses with natural horsemanship techniques. Del Fino is really progressing beautifully...he is quite safe and comfortable with exposure to all types of situation and objects, including bouncing balls, being ridden underneath tarps and over tarps, and much more. What I love best is Del Fino's attitude, as he is happy to work and comfortable with his new job as a riding horse and has beautiful manners on the ground and under saddle. This video captures a few moments of walk and trot, but Del Fino is also beginning to canter quietly and hacks out. Donna recognized the talent and the rideability of Dancer and d'Artagnan and recognized the scarcity of Del Piero's get, since he stands at stud in Germany, resulting in the plan to breed Del Piero to one of the best mares of Rougemont Sport Horses.
