Bacchus is a 16.2 hand, dark brown Trakehner by Avignon II out of Bergen (by Morgenglanz), foaled in 1986. Bacchus was the '87 Yearling Colt Champion at Dressage at Devon, the '88 winner of the 2 year old Stallion Class, and in '89, and in '89 was the Young Horse and Colt Champion at the Greater Atlanta Dressage Southern Breeding Show. In 1990, at Dressage at Devon, Bacchus was winner of the 4 year old and Older Stallion class, Grand Champion Stallion, and Reserve Grand Champion.
